GWO Work at Heights Refresher

This GWO Work at Heights Refresher course aims to give candidates the necessary basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to work safely at height. Candidates will be shown how to use basic PPE and perform safe work at heights along with safe and comprehensive basic rescue in a remote wind turbine environment in accordance with GWO Module Working at Heights. Refresher training reviews and builds of previous knowledge.

Refresher training is available to candidates who have not expired on their current certification.

GWO Sea Survival

Our GWO Sea Survival course teaches personal survival techniques and methods of safe transfer between vessels and installations. This will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to appropriately respond in the event of an emergency and increase their safety through proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency equipment and procedures.

GWO First Aid Refresher

GWO Manual Handling

The GWO Manual Handling course aims to encourage safe positive behaviour of manual handling and manual handling activities within the energy industry. The course is delivered in accordance with GWO Manual Handling and through theoretical and practical training.

GWO Fire Awareness

Our half day GWO Fire Awareness course will provide candidates with the basic knowledge and skills to prevent fires, conduct initial and appropriate judgement when evaluating a fire and safe evacuation. Delegates will also be taught how to efficiently extinguish an initial fire by using basic hand held firefighting equipment.

A basic understanding of the principles of fire prevention and the emergency actions required during a fire can significantly reduce the number and severity of fires and fire related injuries.
